Pets will be triaged, and critical patients seen first. Noncritical patients will be seen in the order they arrive. Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care offers diagnostic work ups, outpatient treatment for a variety of illnesses, sedated procedures, and stabilization of critical patients. Assistance arranging for a transfer to an emergency 24/7 hospital will be provided for any patients needing overnight care.

COVID Protocol

LAVES will remain curbside service for the foreseeable future due to the COVID 19 pandemic and exam room size which limits social distancing. Up to 2 clients may be allowed in the building for euthanasia or at the doctors discretion in the event of a critical situation. Clients must pass COVID screening questions and wear a mask when coming up to the building to meet with a technician or when entering the building. Aside from these extenuating circumstances, clients are not to be present in the building and cannot be present for their pet’s physical exam.

Please call the hospital when you arrive per our curbside COVID protocol. A technician will triage your pet over the phone, obtain information about what brought you to urgent care, and complete the registration process with you. When your pet is ready to be seen, you will proceed to the front door so your pet can enter for the physical exam and assessment. A doctor will then call you to discuss the exam and plan.
